Egido. Both artists have developed their musical and pedagogical careers for over thirty years, performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Spain and abroad. They have appeared as soloists leading their own ensembles and have performed with numerous groups spanning a wide range of styles \u2014 from contemporary and classical music to jazz, rock, and more.<\/p>\n

Driven by the desire to create music that reflects their shared multidisciplinary vision, these two artists founded Nectar Project Music. The ensemble aims to explore, together with a select group of distinguished musicians and composers from the Spanish and international scenes, a new artistic reality \u2014 plural in style and multidisciplinary in nature<\/em>, free from catalogues or constraints, and guided by the aesthetic premise of music as a global artistic experience.<\/p>\n

To this end, they work closely with composers who explore the full technical and expressive potential of both performers, bringing to life the artistic concept that lies at the heart of Nectar Project Music.<\/p>\n

All these elements converge within this project to offer a unique artistic experience. Their mission is to promote and showcase the richness and high level of contemporary Spanish music \u2014 a goal that reflects the group\u2019s eclectic spirit.
\nThroughout their trajectory, Nectar Project Music has premiered and inspired works by Jos\u00e9 Luis Greco, David del Puerto, Mario Carro, Hermes Luaces, Jes\u00fas Torres, Pepe S\u00e1nchez, Juan Cano Murillo, Manuel Comesa\u00f1a, Chema Mrua, Jon\u00e1s Moreno, among others. They have also premiered new arrangements written especially for them, including La oraci\u00f3n del torero<\/em> by Joaqu\u00edn Turina (arr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Turina) and Siete canciones populares espa\u00f1olas<\/em> by Manuel de Falla (arr. Daniel Gilabert).<\/p>\n

They regularly collaborate with artists such as Pepe S\u00e1nchez (producer, composer, pianist, and drummer), Luis Cobos (conductor), Jan Cober (conductor), Rub\u00e9n Yessayan (piano), Duncan Gifford (piano), \u00c1lvaro Octavio (flute), Sohta Nakabayashi (guitar), Juan S\u00e1nchez (keyboards),[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=\u00bb100″ gutter_size=\u00bb3″ override_padding=\u00bbyes\u00bb column_padding=\u00bb2″ overlay_alpha=\u00bb50″ shift_x=\u00bb0″ shift_y=\u00bb0″ shift_y_down=\u00bb0″ z_index=\u00bb0″ medium_width=\u00bb0″ mobile_width=\u00bb0″ width=\u00bb1\/2″ uncode_shortcode_id=\u00bb155701″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=\u00bb115678″]Paloma Garc\u00eda del Busto (cello), Laure Gaudron (viola), Laura Verdugo (guitar), Sophie Duner (jazz singer), Nuria S\u00e1nchez (soprano), among others \u2014 all of whom bring their extensive performing experience to the ensemble, making Nectar Project Music a group in constant evolution, adaptation, and artistic growth.<\/p>\n

The ensemble has recently recorded its first studio album, Dreams & Daggers<\/em>, featuring works written and premiered especially for them.<\/p>\n

Ana M\u00aa Alonso is a deeply committed artist, particularly in the field of contemporary music, in which she made her debut at the age of fifteen. She is currently Professor of Viola at the Conservatorio Amaniel and Principal Viola of Plural Ensemble<\/em>. Since 2023, together with Miguel \u00c1ngel Egido, she has led her own ensemble, Nectar Project Music<\/em>. Ana M\u00aa performs on both an acoustic and an electric viola, custom-built for her by luthier Laurent L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

Miguel A. Egido is an eclectic and multidisciplinary musician, capable of fusing diverse musical genres with stylistic precision and ease \u2014 from jazz to contemporary music. His career includes numerous recordings, live performances, international tours, and collaborations with artists across a wide spectrum of musical worlds. He is currently a soloist with the BSMM and, since 2023, co-leads Nectar Project Music<\/em> alongside Ana M\u00aa Alonso.
